Rob Walker, founder of UpCycle Builders, Inc., is a fourth generation San Francisco builder. Rob worked for several years as a carpenter for a high-end contractor in San Francisco before founding UpCycle Builders, Inc.. A graduate with honors in Finance and Statistics from the University of Southern California, Rob worked as an equity trader for a large investment bank, and later in investor relations. Prior to USC, Rob attended San Francisco University High School.
Leonard Solomon (right), Rob’s great grandfather, established his construction business in San Francisco in the wake of the 1906 earthquake. He’s pictured here in front of his shop at 1303 Eddy Street.
